Author Type Customization and Its Settings

Admin Console: Customizing Pre-set Author Types (Roles)

Each author type, such as Writer or Contributor, is represented by a title that plays a key role in content organization and presentation. You can manage and customize these titles in this section to ensure accurate categorization.

Adding New Author Types

The Add New Author Type feature allows for expanding author type categories, accommodating diverse author roles, and accurately representing contributors to a digital publishing platform.

Locate and click on the Author Type tab.


Locate the Add New Author Type button. Click on it to see different Author Type options.



Write the author type within the associated form from the opened window.


To save the author type, click on Save Changes.


Editing the Author Types

Locate and click on the Author Types tab.


Click the three-dot icon located to the right of the desired Author Type.


Click Edit from the displayed menu.


Edit the Author Type.


Click on Save Changes to save the modifications.


Deleting an Author Type

Locate and click on the Author Types tab.



Click the three-dot icon located to the right of the desired Author Type.



Click Delete from the displayed menu.



Confirm the message to ensure the deletion.

1. How do I add, edit, or delete author types?
Adding New Author Types:
  1. Go to the "Author Type" section in the Admin Console.
  2. Click the "Add New Author Type" button.
  3. Enter the new author type in the provided form.
  4. Save the changes to finalize adding the author type.

  1. Access the "Author Types" section in the Admin Console.
  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the desired Author Type.
  3. Select "Edit" from the displayed options.
  4. Modify the Author Type.
  5. Save the changes to update the author type details.
Deleting an Author Type:
  1. Navigate to the "Author Types" tab in the Admin Console.
  2. Click the three-dot icon beside the specific Author Type.
  3. Choose "Delete" from the menu.
  4. Confirm the deletion action to remove the author type from the system.
