Deleting a Book from the Authoring Studio

If you need to remove a book from your Studio, here's how you can do it from either My Dashboard or the Book Detail page.

Deleting a Book from My Dashboard

1. In the studio interface, access My Dashboard either by selecting the first option on the right under the Account menu or by choosing the second option from the navigation choices on the left in the Top Fixed Menu.




2. Once on the My Dashboard page, look for the book you want to delete and click the Delete Book icon on it.



3. A confirmation dialog will appear. As a safeguard against careless deletion of books, you will be asked to type the book's full title into the dialog before you are allowed to delete the book.

4. After entering the book's name, click on Delete Book.

Warning: Deleting a book in the studio is irreversible. All data related to the book will be permanently lost.

Deleting a Book from the Book Detail Page

  1. Go to the Book Detail page by:
1. Clicking View Book Info on My Dashboard.



2. Clicking Info in the top-left corner of the Edit Book or Read Book page.




  1. On the Book Detail page, click the More Options button.

  1. Select Delete Book from the options.

  1. A confirmation dialog will appear. As a safeguard against careless deletion of books, you will be asked to type the book's full title into the dialog before you are allowed to delete the book.
