How to Insert and Customize an Infobox

Highlighting Key Information by using Infoboxes in Authoring Studio

The Infobox feature in Studio's Chapter Editor lets you add special boxes to your content. These boxes highlight important notes or details, making them stand out to readers and improving your chapter's look.

Inserting an Infobox

1. Place your cursor where you want to add the infobox.



2. Click on the Insert menu at the top left of the chapter editor.



3. Click on the Insert Infobox . This opens a modal to name your infobox. If you check the titleless box, the infobox won't have a header.




Customizing an Infobox

Infobox Theme modal lets you change how your infobox looks. You can choose icons, colors, and border styles to match your content.
1. Click on the infobox to see the Edit icon. Click on this to open the Infobox Theme modal.




2. Icon: Pick an icon from the icon drop-down menu for the Infobox title. Choose a Color for the icon too.

3. Outside Border: Change the color, style, and thickness of the Infobox's outer border.

4. Inside Horizontal Border: Adjust the color, style, and thickness of the inside border.

5. Header and Body Shading: Set different colors for the header (title area) and body (content area) of the Infobox.

6. Cancel, Reset to Defaults, and Apply Buttons:


  1. Cancel: Click this to undo changes and go back.
  2. Reset to Default: This resets all settings to their original state.
  3. Apply: Click this to save your customizations.

Deleting an Infobox

1. Click on the infobox to see the Delete icon. Click on this.



2. A message will ask if you're sure. Click Accept to remove the infobox.
