Accessing the Authors Section

In the Publishing Panel, click on Authors.

Adding a New Author

You can add a new author to your bookstore by using the Create New Author button on the Authors page. After this, you'll be directed to a page where you can enter the new author's details.

You must fill out the following steps to create a New Author:

Language

By default, the process automatically saves the language preference of your bookstore.

Name

Input the author's name, so you can select it from the available list when creating a book.
Note: You can also create a new author during the book publishing stage.

Description

Provide an overview of the author's history, writing style, or noteworthy accomplishments so readers can navigate and choose easier.

Image

Upload an image of the author or a book cover that displays their work as your visual representation. Visual representation increases reader engagement and gives a personal touch.

Biography

Incorporate a comprehensive biography or summary detailing the author's life, career, and notable literary achievements. This enables readers to gain a deeper understanding of the author's influences.

Quote

Include a quote from the author to give readers a sense of their writing. Quotes can generate interest in the author's work and pique readers' curiosity.

Website

To provide readers with more information about the author's works, upcoming activities, or additional resources, it is recommended to include a website link. This link will direct readers to the author's official platform, allowing for further interaction and engagement.

Give readers access to the author's official Facebook and Instagram accounts so they can connect and remain informed. Direct engagement is made easier, and a sense of community is fostered by social media activity.
