In a store, the dictionary contains terms set by the owner or
administrator, which can differ from one store to another. These terms are
integrated into the store's system. However, if a user chooses a non-default
language and these terms aren't translated into that language, the user might
not get the full experience.
Accessing Dictionary
Go to the Publishing Panel and click on Dictionary.
Implementing Translations for Existing Items
1. Go to the Publishing
Panel and click on Dictionary to go to its page.
2. Click on the Type drop-down
menu to see six different item types you can translate. Select the one you
want to work on.
3. You'll see all
the terms added and their translations in the system's supported
languages.
4. To find a
specific item quickly, type it into the search field, and it will appear
at the top of the list.
5. Enter the
translations from the default language into the fields for other
languages.
6. After
translating, click Save to apply the changes.
Note: If a
term isn't translated, the system will use the default language value.
