How to Manage System Administrators

Publishing Panel: System Administrators Management

This section allows administrators to create new administrators or remove them.

Accessing the System Administrators

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



A submenu will appear. Click on System Administrators. This will take you to the System Administrators page.



If there were any Administrators created previously, their information will also be visible in the table.

Creating a New System Administrator

Click on the Create New System Administrator button. This button starts the process.

After clicking the Create New System Administrator button, you will be directed to a page where you can specify the details for the new System Administrator.

On the page, you will encounter a User drop-down menu. This is where you select the user account that you wish to promote to a System Administrator.


Click the Save System Administrator button to confirm the creation of the new System Administrator.

System Administrator Information Table

After creating a new System Administrator, you will be directed to the System Administrator Information Table where you can view and manage their information. If there were any administrators created previously, their information will also be visible in the table.

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



A submenu will appear. Click on System Administrators. This will take you to the System Administrators page.

The Options in the System Administrators Table

Show Items: You have the flexibility to choose how many items are displayed at once, with options of 10, 25, 50, or 100 entries per page.


Search: Use the search bar to quickly find specific System Administrators based on their username.


Username: This column displays the usernames of your System Administrators, allowing you to easily identify and differentiate them.


Date: The Date column indicates the date when each System Administrator was appointed or assigned their role.


Is Owner: This field determines whether the System Administrator also serves as the owner of the bookstore. By default, the bookstore owner holds the administrator role and is the only administrator who cannot have their role revoked by other administrators assigned by them.


Deactivation: The Deactivation column provides you with the option to deactivate a System Administrator's account, if necessary.


Delete: This option allows you to permanently delete a System Administrator account if it is no longer needed or if the account is to be removed entirely from the system.


Deactivating a System Administrator

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



A submenu will appear. Click on System Administrators. This will take you to the System Administrators page.



Locate the System Administrator you wish to deactivate.
Click on the Deactivate option in the last column. You will receive a message confirming your action.


Activating a System Administrator

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



A submenu will appear. Click on System Administrators. This will take you to the System Administrators page.



Locate the System Administrator you wish to activate.
Click on the Activation option in the last column. You will receive a message confirming your action.



Note: If you can see the Activation option, it indicates that the user has previously been deactivated.

Deleting a System Administrator

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



A submenu will appear. Click on System Administrators. This will take you to the System Administrators page.



Identify the System Administrator you want to remove.
In the final column, locate and click on the Delete option.


Once this action is completed, the System Administrator will be successfully deleted.
