Tags in the Book Store Ecosystem

Tags in the Book Store are important for helping people find and categorize books. They affect how visible a book is and where it appears in the store. Choosing the right tags can make a big difference in how a book is seen and who sees it.

Accessing Tags

Go to the Publishing Panel and click on Tags.


Creating a New Tag

1. In the Publishing Panel, click Tags.



2. On the Tags page, click Create New Tag.



3. Enter the tag's title in the title field.


4. Click Save Tag. Your new tag will now show up in the tag table.

Note: Tags can also be created during the book creation process in the vendor Publishing Panel. These tags will appear in the owner's publishing panel once the book is published.

In the Publishing Panel, click on Tags to see the table with preexisting tags.


The Different Sections of the Table

  1. Show Items: Choose how many entries to display per page (10, 25, 50, or 100).

  1. Search: Use the search bar to find specific tags. The table will be updated with matching results.

  1. Tag: shows the name of each tag.

  1. Number of Uses: This tells how often each tag has been used.

  1. Date: Shows when each tag was created.

  1. Settings: 

    1. Edit: Change the tag title by clicking Edit next to the tag, writing the new title, and clicking on Update Tag.



    1. Delete: Remove a tag by clicking Delete next to it and confirming your choice.



Editing a Tag

1. Click Tags in the Publishing Panel.



2. Find the tag you want to change in the table and click Edit.



3. Change the tag name and click Update Tag.


Deleting a Tag

1. Click Tags in the Publishing Panel.



2. Find the tag you want to delete, and click Delete.



3. Confirm your choice to permanently remove the tag.
