Managing Vendor Assistant within the Member Section

Publishing Panel: Vendor Assistants Management

This section allows administrators to create new vendor assistants or remove them. Within this section, you can discover information like usernames, vendors, and vendor assistants, all of which come with associated role assignment dates.

Accessing Vendor Assistants

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



After selecting the Members option, a submenu will appear. From this submenu, click on Vendor Assistants. This will take you to the Vendor Assistant page.


Creating a Vendor Assistant

Click on Add New Vendor Assistant to start the process.

Fill in the fields below.
In the Vendor field, specify the vendor that the new assistant will be associated with.


In the User field, select the user account that will be linked to the Vendor Assistant. 



Click the Save Vendor Assistant button to create the new Vendor Assistant.



Vendors and Vendor Assistants can easily communicate with this feature.

Vendor Assistant Information Table

After creating a new Vendor Assistant, you will be directed to the Vendor Assistant Information Table, where you can view and manage their information. All Vendor Assistants are displayed in this table.

Accessing the Vendor Assistant Information Table

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



After selecting the Members option, a submenu will appear. From this submenu, click on Vendor Assistant. This will take you to the Vendor Assistant page.



If there were any assistants created previously, their information will also be visible in the table.

The Options in the Vendor Assistant Table

Show Items: You can choose to display 10, 25, 50, or 100 items at once, making it easier to manage your Vendor Assistants.


Search: Use the search bar to find specific assistants based on username.


User: This column displays the user linked to each Vendor Assistant.



Vendor: Shows the vendor or vendors associated with each assistant.



Role: Indicates the role or responsibilities of each Vendor Assistant.



Added to: Displays the date when each assistant was added to the system.



Delete Assistant: This column allows you to remove a Vendor Assistant from a vendor if needed.


Deleting a Vendor Assistant

In the Publishing Panel, click on Members.



After selecting the Members option, a submenu will appear. From this submenu, click on Users. This will take you to the Users page.



Identify the Vendor Assistant you want to remove.
In the final column, click Delete. You will receive a message confirming your action.




Note: This table also presents vendor information, but please note that you cannot delete vendors directly within this interface. Your authorization only allows you to delete Vendor Assistants.

1. Can I delete vendors directly from the Vendor Assistant page?
No, the Vendor Assistant page allows only the deletion of Vendor Assistants. Removing vendors directly from the Vendor Assistant page within the Publishing Panel isn't supported. Deleting a vendor is available on the Vendor Page within the Publishing Panel.

2. How do I access the Vendor Assistant section within the Publishing Panel?

  1. Access as an admin: In the Vendor Assistant page of the Publishing Panel, locate the Assistant, and in the final column, click "Delete" to remove them. You'll receive a confirmation message before deletion.
  2. Access as a vendor: Click on Vendor in the Publishing Panel. Click on Vendor User tab.  locate the Assistant, and in the final column, click "Delete" to remove them.
