it with new content.
Steps to Use Find & Replace
1. Accessing the
Tool:
- Go to the top
left of the chapter editor and click on the Edit menu.
- From the
dropdown, select Find & Replace to open its modal.
2. Finding Text:
- In the Find
& Replace modal, you'll see a Find form.
- Type in the
word or phrase you're looking for.
- If you need an
exact match with capitalization, check the Match Case box.
- Click Find to
locate the first occurrence of your search term. The editor will
highlight it.
3. Replacing Text:
- To replace the
found text, enter your new content in the Replace field.
- Click Replace
to update the highlighted text.
- To find and
replace the next occurrence, click Find again and then Replace.
4. Replacing All
Occurrences:
- If you want to
replace every instance of the term in your document, click Replace All.
5. Navigating
Through Occurrences:
- Use the Prev
button to go back to previous occurrences, or Next to move on
to next ones.
- Continue
searching for more instances by clicking Find.
6. Exiting the
Tool:
- To stop using Find
& Replace, click the Cancel button.
