1. Log in to the Administrator Console.



Note: Only bookstore owners can access the Administrator Console.
2. Click on Settings to open the list. Locate and click on the Publishing tab.



3. Click on Sample Book on the publishing page.



4. Enter the duration of access to the sample book in the Trial Time field.



5. Click on Save Changes.


Activating the Sample Book

You can activate the sample book feature if you are:
1. Creating a new book, or
2. Working with existing ones

Enabling the Sample Book When Creating a New Book

1. Log in to the Publishing Panel.



2. Click on Books from the Publishing Panel menu.



Note: If you are the owner, click on the Switch Role option at the bottom of the Publishing Panel menu to enter the vendor publishing panel.


3. On the Books page, click on Create New Book.



4. While in the pricing stage of creating the new book, activate the Sample Book option within the Sample Book section.


Enabling the Sample Book for an Existing Book

To enable a trial for one of your books, follow these steps:
1. On the Books page, you will find a table with information about your books. Locate the specific book you want to enable the trial for, and click on the Edit option in the last column.



2. On the Metadata page, go to the Price tab.



3. In the Sample Book section, activate the Sample Book option.



4. Do not forget to save your changes by clicking on Save.


Once you have made the necessary edits, click on the Send Edits option located on the top left of the page.



After receiving approval from the bookstore administrator, the sample book will be available in the store for your readers to explore.
