While we do not impose a strict requirement on publishers to adhere to traditional "editions" of their books, we provide a robust and established "Revision" feature. Our EPUB3 books operate like evolving software applications, continuously advancing and diversifying through various versions. Rather than employing the term "Editions", we empower publishers to generate distinct revisions of their books. This functionality enables the integration of minor adjustments to content and metadata, which can then be released. Each release automatically increments the revision number. Previous revisions become unpublished, but readers who purchased them can download and read these versions on their devices. Additionally, readers receive notifications, allowing them to opt for and download the most recent revision available.
