Links let you connect your content to other websites or sections of your document. Adding links is simple in the Authoring Studio.
How to Add Links
Choose What to Link
First, select the text or item you want to turn into a link.
Open the Link Modal
Click on Insert Link in the editing toolbar to open the link tool.
Set Up Your Link
- There are several linking options:
- For an external website, type its URL into the designated field.
- To name your link, type in the title. If you've already selected text, it will show up automatically.
- To link to a chapter in your document, pick Link to Existing Chapter and choose from the list.
- To link to a specific spot in your document, pick Link to Existing Anchor and choose from the anchors.
Finish the Link
After setting it up, click Insert Link to add it to your document.
